The world around me has been filled with colour the past couple of weeks. Solomon 2 verse 12 reads:
'The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come...'
Proof that it can't always rain and that the fruit of rain has to be what you see below!
With my hiking group in the Postberg Nature Reserve.
Carpets of colour at Postberg.
Aloes in Ladismith last week.
More West Coast...
My mother's garden!
Amazing Postberg - alive with more than colour!
Our precious little Abbey - a flower amongst the flowers!
Created by the Big Bang? Don't think so!
Spotted in the Cederberg.
At Kalk Bay harbour - spotted after lunch...
At Cape Point - Sewejaartjies in abundance!
Proteas at Cape Point...
The shadow here almost as impressive as the flower itself!
The vibrant flower of the sour fig - wide open at midday.
Finally - if the flowers on the Camino route is anything as special as these in my real life, I'll have to add a week to the trip just to take pictures!
What a lovely little series of flower photos in this post.....
ReplyDeleteNature at its colourful best.!

Thanks Trevor - we really do live in a beautiful part of the world. I try to never take it for granted! :)
ReplyDeleteUmmm Emilene...you may just need to do that, add time for pics!! I found myself sometimes skipping taking them just because of time..or the perception of it!! Although in a way, it focuses you too!
